FROM THE ECHO ON JÁNOS KORNAI'S PUBLICATIONS

In the September 2010 issue of Mozgó Világ (a leading Hungarian cultural-political monthly) Zoltán Farkas published a detailed analysis of the influence the works by János Kornai and his memoir By Force of Thought have exerted in China. The article "The Chinese connection” describes the effects of his works in terms of the simultaneous Chinese political situations, with the help of reviews, recollections, a TV-program and the discussion of two dissidents. Read the article in English here.

Reviews on János Kornai's memoir By Force of Thought are available here.
From among the numerous reviews let us draw your attention to a few particularly remarkable ones, recently received from China (by Suli Liu - Yuegang Lu), Russia (by Dmitri Travin, in Russian) and India (by Deena Khatkhate, commented by Chattopadhyay).
